I have design "BLACK A" which is the longer OWL pattern. Cute! The little rhinestone applique is well situated on there, and the gems are small and lightweight, which keeps the fabric flexible around that area as well as not feel obtrusive.I chose the longer style so that way I can make them slouch OR pull them straight to my elbow. There is no pattern other than on the back of hands.Material is thin, as expected and truly should not be a surprise to anyone. Kind of like sliding on a pair of socks. Fingerless, including no thumb; just a thumb hole. Some brands keep a longer thumb area, which I avoid because it will interfere with typing (or since i have short thumbs-- would otherwise disappear!). These are good. Just a wide-open hole for all fingers, and then a thumb hole.Despite being plus sized (18/20) AND having a large bone frame, I happen to have fairly slenderish arms. I think because I am tall. All my weight is distributed over a 5'10" frame. These fit just right. Not too loose, not too tight. If you have a fine bone frame then it is possible that these may fit loosely, or snugger with larger dimensions.Mild compression for me. There is a BAND at both ends-- the part that rests on the arm, and the part that rests at the knuckles. This latter portion may feel too compressing and may feel odd when it comes to typing. It isn't enough for me to take them off, but I can feel the pressure. Not all arm warmers have this. I happen to have a pair of alpaca hand/arm warmers of similar thinness and style, but there is no "band". I haven't decided which I like more. But I did want to point it out in case you have sensory issues that may be impacted (positively or negatively) by this.That all being said: 5 stars. They look as expected, quality seems as good as others, and I like the presentation. They were nicely packaged in an envelope, then comes with a drawstring organza bag to store them in. Overall gift presentation worthy.
