They are single a piece without any hook and loop closure. Very lightweight and comfortable with the pads in the right spots. Though the thumb is not really free to move, due to an excessively rigid reinforcement from the thumb to the index fingerI like these gloves. I wear a ladies size 8 shoe - medium is the right size for me.I ordered these for cycling because that is how they are listed, but they are much better suited to rowing in my opinion. There is no padding as would be expected in a cycling glove. There is nice sticky spots which would be ideal for paddle grip in my opinion.The fit is sleek and high on the wristI wear these almost every day & can they that though they are a tad slim fitting, they’re great. Cushion in the hands are a tad thin for me, but the weight overall is super light. Some of the threads have come out near the tips, but a lighter tends to fix that, they also breath quite well.
