The furnace works really well! I really enjoyed using it! The furnace melted about 10lbs of lead in minutes, a lot faster that expected. The downfall is the set screws to hold the “torch” are not the correct size for the wrench provided (very minor problem) will probably change out for something different. The instructions for set up are not very informative, but with a slight working knowledge of how the individual things work, you can figure it out very quickly. Haven’t gotten into other metals such as aluminum, tin, etc. just did lead as a test. The furnace is smaller than expected but there’s a lot of power in a small package!!! I’d say with the whole set up, it’s a very good price, no issues and works better than expected!!! Would highly recommend to someone who is looking to get into melting metal for a good price!!! Minus the small things I mentioned (very small) very happy with the purchase, I’ve used it for 3 pours so far and already thinking about getting the bigger one!!!
