We also spend a great deal of time ice fishing and these gloves have withstood some harsh conditions.Before the last couple of weeks I have never had heated gloved before......but these things are amazing! Have you ever been sitting at a kids outdoor sporting game when it is freezing cold and windy and your fingers are about to freeze off from the cold? No need to worry about that anymore with these bad boys! Your hands will be all warm and toasty wherever you need to go!Getting these all set up is super easy. There is a zipper pocket on the back of the gloves that holds the wire that the battery needs plugged into. Simply plug the battery into the wire and you are ready to go! To turn the heat on all you need to do is hold the button down for 2 seconds and they will turn on. A red light will turn on when they are on and heating. You can feel the heat on your hands within seconds. When you are ready to turn them off simply hold down the button again for 2 seconds and they will turn off again. When they turn off a green light will turn on for a seconds or two and then all lights will turn off confirming that they are off.We got these in medium for our 13 year old son and they fit him great. They also fit me great and I am 36.I am super happy with these gloves and would HIGHLY recommend them! Your hands will be toasty and happy!These gloves are a must have for people who live in cold weather. The battery lasted about 5 hours when fully charged and on the medium strength. The batteries are rechargeable via a wall plug, and didn’t take very long to recharge. The sizing is accurate as I ordered a large and they fit as expected. The inside of the gloves are warm and comfortable as well.The heating function of these gloves works fine. They are very bulky so it is very hard to use your fingers while wearing them and one finger covered glove will hit multiple keys when trying to text so I cannot text with them on. Fine for holding a ski pole or handles. Not great for holding reins and adjusting tack.We’ve recently been regulated to work outside. In Canada. I’m 5’2” and 100 pounds and my hands STING, very badly and very quickly when exposed to the cold, so I bit the bullet and shelled out the money for these. They DO work, but even at the highest setting, they basically feel about as warm as a pair would feel after they’ve been worn for awhile. I guess I was expecting ‘hot pockets’ warmth. Nope. But, still better than regular gloves! I personally found they run larger than measurements given…I bought an extra small and still have about a 1/2” of excess, which creates dexterity issues.When you order heated winter gloves with batteries and charger included the charger should be large enough in voltage to charge the batteries but in this case it’s not! The batteries are 7.4 volt and the charger is 5 volts so the heated gloves do not well because of this. This set needs a bigger charger which is for sale through Amazon for an extra $35.00 this needs to be fixed so these gloves can do the job they were bought for. Thank you.Although the gloved work well in mildly cold temperatures, they do not heat up well enough to keep my hands warm at minus 20 when shoveling snow.They keep his hands warm and the Gloves fit. He loves them. They were a gift.
