I was tired of burning my hands and feeling so awkward when moving hot grates and food when I cook on my BGE. Should’ve purchased these a long time ago! Fits about any hand. Not too big not too small.These Kingford Grilling gloves are nice for BBQ grilling. I purchased a pair of gloves on sale for $15. It feels like you have big gloves on, but still have good dexterity. First, I tried them on an open fire over the kitchen stove for a few seconds and I did not feel any heat. Then we tried them on our Weber grill and they worked great. I used them to move the charcoal around after pouring out the charcoal. It started to feel it warm after about 10-15 seconds of moving around the charcoal. I use them to take off the steel grill when the charcoals at full blast, did not feel much heat either. I used them to flip the stainless steel skewers with no problems. So they give plenty of heat protection when working around the grill.Cons:1. After about 15-20 seconds working around charcoals, remember to pull them away to cool them down. Otherwise you will start to feel the heat. But I think this is normal for this type of glove.2. Do not get them wet because the water will turn into steam quickly and burn you quickly.3. Do NOT use them as potholders or oven mitts. I tried to use them to pour tea out of a pot with a stainless steel handle, and after about 3 seconds it got so hot that I almost burned myself. From my experience, if you start to feel the heat through the gloves, then you have about 1-2 seconds to drop the item or you are going to burn yourself.Overall, they are great BBQ grill gloves that gives you heat protection around the grill when you need it. Just remember it has limits.Gloves work just fine as promised...will get plenty of use...quality construction.These are a little longer than the average heat glove with added wrist/lower arm protection. Great value, thick but flexible.They worked better that I ever imagined!.These gloves are absolutely huge, dwarfing my husband's and my hands. As such, they're not very secure for lifting much, since they bunch up and slide around on our hands. But they're very heat resistant and come a long way up the arm, so they're fine for simple tasks. If you've got huge hands, these are a great purchase. If you have average or smaller hands, they're a poor choice. I wish they came in smaller sizes, because they're otherwise great.Heat resistant.I bought these as a gift for my husband. He was very excited to try them but to our disappointment they don’t fit (too small). I would advise anyone big hands to consider getting another brand.
