These gloves were my saviors during this past Thanksgiving. Our family decided to try out frying our turkey and when placing the turkey in the oil, there's a bit of splatter yet these gloves give you safety and confidence. Once the splatter begins, it's almost intuitive to just lower it down faster or drop it out of fear which could lead to serious injury. I had super hot oil splatter all over these things and didn't feel a thing. I also used them to get a good hold of the turkey when I was carving it. I put them on and wash my hands with regular soap as you would wash bare hands. I've used them already this year when barbecuing to flip kabobs by hand with ease.
