Goodn padding comfortble good protection yet not too hotmake sure to get a little bigger for easy moving.Have a bunch od them the orange color gives max road visibilityI ride a recumbent race bike with Schlitter J-bars, with my arms extended in front of me ("Superman" position). For that purpose, 3mm EVA padding is fine. I like the highly visible orange color, which catches drivers' attention and makes my hand signals more noticeable. The finger pulls make them easier to pull off at pit stops, which have become more frequent with age. As an older rider, I don't think the padding would be adequate if I were riding a standard road bike with drop bars or even flat bars, but they are more than adequate for me.The LARGE size is a little small for me anyway when i measure across the back of my hand it IS between 3.5-4" but the large is snug on my hands. Haven't actually rode with them yet so they may stretch out a lil' truly feel i could have gone up a size.Length of them run a little short other than that it is a great fitting gloveI have a rather long fingers and flat hand, the wrist strap great to tighten with. The padding around the palm close to the thumb was very nicely covered. Used today and it was great riding my bike on a 25 mile trail. My hand was feeling better already.Great biking gloves. My hands get sweaty they help a lot. I also cycle home from work. They are very reflective at night. Padding is almost nonexistent and in the wrong spot - it’s almost on the side of the palm, not where it’s needed. And it’s not even girl padding...Nice quality cycling gloves.
